The 32-year-old actress also admitted that she still lacks confidence in her appearance.
“It’s so funny because people say, ‘You’ve got such great skin’, and I’m like, ‘Are you kidding?’
“I guess now I’m getting older I’m getting more wrinkles to go with the pimples. Sometimes now, I think I’m starting to look like something out of Night of the Living Dead!” she added.

Homer Simpson said it best: “I wanted Mary Ann on Gilligan’s Island ugly, not Cornelius on The Planet of the Apes ugly. TV ugly, not… ugly ugly.”
In real life, “ugly” girls are social lepers with affinity for listening to emo bands while cutting themselves. In movies, the “ugly” girls always look like they’re two seconds away from ripping off their oversized glasses and starring in a Noxema commercial.
Take, for example, 27 Dresses, starring the gorgeous Katherine Heigl as Jane, an administrative assistant who’s used to men ignoring her in favour of her hot sister. But it? ? !” ll take more than a bad brunette dye job to convince us this Jane is plain. In honour of Hollywood’s obsession with pretty/ugly girls, we’re counting down the Top 10 “homely” hotties in film.
10) Drew Barrymore, Never Been Kissed — Before: Newspaper reporter Josie Geller (Drew Barrymore) is sent back to high school for an undercover report. A former brace-faced outcast, who used to be taunted with the nickname “Josie Gross-ie,” she gets help from her once-popular brother to infiltrate the cool clique.
After: Despite a misfire on the first makeover (no teen wears that much white marabou, we don? ? !” t care if it was 1999) that lands her back in the nerdy crowd, all it takes to hot-i-fy Josie is to dress her like the real-life Barrymore: a cutesy head of ringlets and some flowery tops and soon Josie’s part of the in-crowd. Not only that, she quickly becomes her English teacher’s pet.
Was She Hot or Not? Not. Say what you will about Drew Barrymore’s acting talent, but the girl can play ugly really well.
