She’s struggled with her weight in the past but Drew Barrymore looked incredible as she celebrated her 33rd birthday in Mexico last month.

Relaxing on a beach with her new love, actor Justin Long, she showed off a taut and toned body - very different to her figure of two years ago.

And she says it’s all down exercise and, amazingly, takeaway food! She said: “I don’t cook, so I get all my food from healthy takeaways in LA. You can order delicious fresh, steamed fish or chicken with vegetables. I am careful about what I eat but not obsessive - everything in moderation.” Continue Reading »

According to Perez Hilton, Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore attended the Los Angeles Derby Dolls match this past weekend, perhaps in preparation for Drew’s directorial debut, “Whip It!”

The LA Derby Dolls is a league of roller derby teams, whose bad grrrl coolness just went up several notches by the participation of two-thirds of Charlie’s Angels in the audience.

The Derby Dolls can be so dangerous, they often make their patrons sign an indemnity waiver just to watch them race around the track and beat the crap out of each other. Cameron Diaz (There’s Something about Scary?) and Drew Barrymore (Never Been Kissed… or Body-Slammed?), however, were up for the challenge. Continue Reading »

“FUN IS ALWAYS THE FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS,” says BARRYMORE. “I FEEL THERE ARE NO RULES.” When DREW BARRYMORE moved her L.A.-based production company, Flower Films, from a bleak bungalow on the Warner Bros. lot to a Deco-style building, she enlisted an interior designer she found from domino’s pages (her now-decorator Ruthie Sommers was domino’s first cover girl in 2005!).

As ‘one big collaboration’ Drew’s vision for Flower Films was realized to create the ultimate un-office: a chic working environment that allows her staff to work ‘family-style’ as Flower Films VP of production Chris Miller put it. “We wanted the opposite of corporate. Nan and Drew are always running around each other’s offices giggling,” Miller says. “Now we all eat together and watch CNN in the kitchen.”

Every room in the Flower Films office is different—reflecting the staffs’ individual styles. “I LOVE MY GLOBE, RECORD PLAYER AND HORSESHOE…” says BARRYMORE. “I DON’T HAVE A PARTICULAR STYLE. YOU CAN NEVER, NEVER, NEVER HAVE TOO MANY BOOKS.”
