Drew Barrymore is begging Jennifer Aniston to dump John Mayer, telling her: “You can do better!” says a friend of the actresses.
The two beauties – recent co-stars in the hit He’s Just Not That Into You – had a recent heart-to-heart talk about the commitment-phobic rocker, pals say, with Drew urging Jen to keep looking because John’s using her to boost his career.
“Drew told Jen she could do way better and she’d be a fool to settle for him,” a close pal told The ENQUIRER.
“The first time Jen introduced twice-divorced Drew to John, they clashed,” added the source. Read the rest of this entry »

It wasn’t for the male relationships that Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore joined the cast of ‘He’s Just Not that Into You’, but it was for the “girl crushes” that the actresses gave their nod to star in the new flick.
In the film, both the stars feature alongside a star-studded cast, including Scarlett Johansson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Connelly, and Ben Affleck.
However, both of them insist that they joined the cast because they wanted to build relationships with all these people.
“We all wanted to work together, we did this, we do other things. I love alumni, I love building relationships with people I admire and respect and am in love with,” Fox News quoted Barrymore as saying.
And Aniston agreed, saying: “I got the call, I got the script. Nancy (Juvovnen) & Drew (Barrymore, Producers) – that’s just a no-brainer. We have some good girl crushes going on.”

IT all started out as a line from an episode of Sex And The City, when Carrie’s date Jack Berger gave Miranda some straight-talking relationship advice.
When Berger’s comment that ‘He’s just not that into you’ ended up having such a huge impact on fans, Sex And The City’s consultant Greg Behrendt and executive story editor Liz Tuccillo decided to write a self-help book of the same name.
Its basic remit was that women should ignore mixed messages and wise up to the facts. Thus – if he doesn’t ask you out, he’s just not that into you. Read the rest of this entry »

Arriving in the #1 box-office spot this weekend with $27.5 million, “He’s Just Not That Into You” proves, if nothing else, that none of us are alone in our malaise regarding the opposite sex. Sure, there weren’t many good movies opening this week (*cough*Pink Panther 2*cough*), but the fact that a movie regarding frustration with unrequited feelings wound up in first place certainly speaks volumes about our country’s emotional maturity level.
Prior to the film’s debut, Us Weekly decided to ask some of the movie’s stars, “What was the worst date you’ve ever been on?” While hopefully not, some of the answers might seem familiar.
“You know, luckily I haven’t had that many bad dates,” Drew Barrymore told Us. “I went through that with this lawyer and we sort of looked at each other at dinner and went, ‘Yeah, no. This isn’t going to work!’ We sort of shook hands and ended the evening.” Read the rest of this entry »
