I’ve updated a HBO promo trailer of Drew in ‘Inside Grey Gardens‘.
Grey Gardens is a dramatic adaptation of the Maysles brothers 1975 documentary about a mother/daughter shut-ins living in a dilapidated mansion in the East Hamptons. Big Edie (Jessica Lange) and her daughter Little Edie (Drew Barrymore) were relatives of first lady Jackie O (Jeanne Tripplehorn)(Little Edie was her Cousin, Big Edie her Aunt).

Drew Barrymore got so nervous portraying an historic figure in her upcoming film Grey Gardens she couldn’t eat.
The actress – who plays Edith Bouvier Beale in the movie adaptation of the Grey Gardens documentary – says she lost so much weight during her time as the American socialite, the director ordered her to start munching on chocolate.
Drew explains, “I lost a lot of weight because I was so nervous I couldn’t eat, and I lost like 10 pounds.
“I try to lose 10 pounds and I can’t. Ironically, he needed me to gain 10 pounds and I could not get food down my throat. I was so uptight and freaked out all the time.”

Drew Barrymore has swapped her favoured worn jeans and old t-shirt look for some Old Hollywood glamour.
The star stepped on set of her new film Grey Gardens sporting soft curls, lashings of red lipstick and a thigh-skimming playsuit.

HBO has lined up a pair of big names for its movie adaptation of the 1970s documentary “Grey Gardens.”
Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange have been tapped to star in the film, about the eccentric aunt and cousin of former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. It’s based on a 1975 documentary by David and Albert Maysles, who chronicled the two women’s lives in a run-down East Hampton, N.Y., mansion — called Grey Gardens. Read the rest of this entry »
