Drew Barrymore is single because she can’t find a man who deserves her.
The ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ star is only interested in dating her perfect man and refuses to waste her time on unsuitable lovers.
She is quoted as saying: “I believe there are no rules. I think, at a certain point something clicks, and you’re just not willing to accept or give less than what your heart desires or less than what you deserve.”
Drew – who split from actor Justin Long last July – has previously revealed she won’t let her life be ruled by a man.
She said: “My priorities have changed so much. I’ve been single for months now and I’ve turned my attention toward my passions, my friends and the causes I believe in. It’s been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself.”
The 33-year-old actress already has two marriages behind her.
She tied the knot with Welsh barman Jeremy Thomas in March 1994, but they split the following month.
In 2001, she wed Canadian comic star Tom Green, but Green filed for divorce in December the same year.

I wish there were no rules….but there always are. Ruled by a man, I dont think anybody should be ruled, man or women. Turning your attentions to other things…..what I get from that is keeping yourself busy so you don’t think about having/not having a relationship. Nobody likes a combative women, boy I sure hope your not. Only interested in dating her perfect man……..lots of luck there, nobodys perfect. I guess it depends on what your idea of perfect is. Seems like everybodys “perfect” is different.
Question, married Tom Green. All I can say is what the fuck? I don’t understand.
Finding a man that deserves her? What would it take? The proper schooling, wealth….being famous, how about infamous:). What kind of man would he be? I wonder what ever happened to being honest, having some kind of morals, without being growtesk. Does that even exist anymore? I haven’t been able to find it….unfortunitley
